Community rules

Ridefolk is a beta community for adults organising group motorcycle rides and shared car trips in India.

• Be 18 or older. Hold the licences and insurance required for your vehicle. Wear appropriate protective gear and follow road rules.
• Use honest profiles and trip details. Do not post commercial taxi services or make a profit from shared expenses through this beta.
• Explain fuel, toll, food and stay estimates clearly. Any expenses are arranged directly by participants. Ridefolk does not collect payments or guarantee refunds.
• Be respectful. No harassment, discriminatory content, unsafe riding, spam, or illegal activities. Use Report and Block if something feels wrong.
• A request is confirmed only after the host approves it. Hosts and riders should cancel promptly if plans change.
• Meet in a public place, let a trusted person know your route, and independently assess the group, vehicle and conditions. Profiles and experience are self-reported.
